What they got right and wrong
The staff is incredible! Their warmth and assistance made our stay enjoyable, and the breakfast, particularly the muesli, was absolutely divine!
The shower had persistent issues despite being reported. An absolute disappointment that dampened our experience.

Spoiler alert, it’s worth it!
A delightful escape in a beautifully restored mansion. Our themed Superior Queen Room was exquisite, complete with antique football memorabilia. The breakfast was a standout, featuring the best muesli I've ever tasted. The staff's warmth and personalized service made us feel at home in this vibrant old town.

Couple antique lovers
The hotel was very tastefully decorated, everything was beautifully done, including the porcelain in China at breakfast. Those comfy beds and those towels, just amazing. I really enjoyed the breakfast with fresh and high-quality products, best I had in Uruguay.
It wasn't exactly cheap but honestly still acceptable for what you get.

The historic vibe was perfect when we visited the nearby Teatro Solís and jogged along the promenade. Breakfast was top-notch, with a variety of delicious options. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
We faced some issues with the shower not working properly during our stay, and despite reporting it, it didn’t get fixed until late.

This place was a strong match for a couple of nights in Montevideo with good value. The rooftop view and hot tub were a great surprise after our long days exploring. Be aware that some local eateries might close early, so plan meals ahead.

Stayed as a solo traveler in the Classic Queen Room for 2 nights. The room was super comfortable and surprisingly quiet. I loved the charming decor and the bed was one of the best I’ve slept in anywhere. The large windows let in plenty of light, too. The only minor hiccup was the shower, which had a bit of an issue but nothing too annoying. Also, really enjoyed the view of the public square. Breakfast was a nice treat too!

Just a reliable pick for a city break in Montevideo with great value for money. The large windows in my room let in plenty of natural light, making it a pleasant space to relax. Plan your evening dining in advance, as many local spots close early.

Exploring the area was fantastic, especially visiting Teatro Solís with its gorgeous architecture. The breakfast was truly delightful with various fresh options, and the staff made our stay enjoyable, even with three young kids in tow. A perfect spot for family fun.
My wife thinks that having coffee available in the room would be a nice addition.
